Stephen’s appreciation of art has over the years found expression and exerted influence on his life in many ways. Together with his natural curiosity, it has inspired a lifelong love for travel all over North America and Europe, to explore the beauty and splendor in nature, architecture and fine art. These experiences and the countless images captured with a very talented photographer’s eye are inspiration for many of his paintings today.

While he has
worked in various media, Stephen’s main focus today is painting in oil to
capture a wide variety of subjects, including land- and seascapes, portraits and
figurative subjects and still life pieces.
Stephen studied oil painting with Gary Hernandez at the Gary J. Hernandez School of Fine Art for five years. He has participated in a number of art exhibitions in association with the School.
